Waiting On Wednesday (26)

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine.

Ten by Gretchen Mcneil

And their doom comes swiftly.

It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.

But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.

Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off the from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?

To say that this book is one of my most anticipated this year is putting it gently. As soon as I read the synopsis, I was sold. It might be the Harper's Island obsessed/murder mystery lover in me, but how in the world can this book go wrong? CANNOT WAIT FOR SEPTEMBER.

So, what are YOU waiting on? Let me know! And if you're one of the lucky ducks who's already read Ten, what did you think of it???? I MUST know!

  1. OMG I have never heard of this one until now, but holy cow it sounds amazing!! I'm totally with you on being an obsessed/ murder mystery lover, this sounds amazing! I loved Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None and this slightly reminded me of that, but sounds even better! I loved the line 'Vengeance is mine.' !! Ahh I can't wait for September now too, thanks Briana and I hope your summer is going great! :D
